Prayer

The meaning of prayer differs from person to person. Some say it’s a song in any heart, some say the ernes most thoughts, communication with the creator, a melody that the heart sings, gives inner peace, a blessing and the list goes on. To me prayer is thanking my father for everything he has given me and also telling him my needs. God says, “Try me”. As his children we need to have faith and ask him, because prayer is the key to our faith and heaven is our promised storehouse.

Prayer can do wonders if we only believe. It says in 1Peter 5:7, “Cast all your cares on the lord for he cares for you.” God likes us coming to him in prayer. He wants us to depend on him completely. As human beings we are weak and sinful and only God can make us whole. We need to pray for forgiveness, love, humbleness, peace and happiness which will help us every day of our lives. Our prayer must be from heart, which is as simple and sincere. God listens as we speak, as time and place are not factors, even if we fall asleep. Happy or troubled times whatever it may be, he answers yes, no or just wait for a while and see.
